Carolina Investors Chairman Earle Morris’ Conviction and Sentence Unanimously Affirmed by South Carolina Supreme Court

Columbia, SC – The South Carolina Supreme Court today unanimously affirmed the conviction and sentence of former State Controller General and Lieutenant Governor Earl E. Morris, Jr. of one (1) count of engaging in a scheme to commit securities fraud and twenty-two (22) counts of securities fraud. Mr. Morris served as chairman of Carolina Investors, Inc. which closed its’ doors in March of 2003.
